Fab Chili Recipe with Beef and Beans

This Fab chili recipe calls for a number of ingredients to be slow cooked for hours, but it’s easy on the pocket book and your schedule, as it needs very little tending, and you probably have most of the ingredients already.

chili-2Turn your slow cooker to high to get it heating up and add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and coffee. I like to use the fire-roasted tomatoes in this chili recipe.

chili-1In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat 4-5 minutes or just until no longer pink. Drain most of the grease from the pan. Return to stove and add onion and garlic. Stir and cook until hot throughout, about 3-5 more minutes.

chili-4Dump this goodness into the slow cooker where the sauce has been warming. Stir. Set the slow cooker to low for 4-6 hours, adding the beans with 2 hours remaining.
